  1. Hey Helen,
Just returned on a red eye flight from SF this morning only to find a referral from your website on my site! My husband and I made a quick trip for business this weekend. Had dinner at Kokkari and drove down to Monterey the next morning for a meeting and then back to the airport via 17 mile drive and the magnificent Pebble Beach.

I hope you checked out my site. My daughters and I are working to provide an arena to promote up and coming designers. We to love to pair new styles with gems we pull from our own closets!

I love the way you photograph your outfit of the day. My daughter Dana would be a perfect candidate to do that as well.

  2. Hey Helen,

You have a GREAT sense of Style. If you have not done so, you should REALLY connect with the Editor of BussBuss.com, Kelly Lee. Have you heard of hear? πŸ˜‰ Great meeting you yesterday. I look forward to more enjoyable conversations.

  3. Hi Helen,
I love your blog. I’m trying to decide between the PS11 mini and the classic. Do you have any suggestions for how to decide?

    1. Thanks Wendy! I had the same difficult dilemma which is why I bought the PS11 in both sizes but in different colors. My first one was the smaller mini in tan and then I got the larger classic one in black. I love them both! πŸ™‚ Good luck!

  4. Hello Helen!! I had so much fun seeing you on Thursday and Saturday with all of the wedding festivities. You are truly a fashion inspiration and I can’t believe I didn’t find this blog sooner! πŸ™‚ Have a great week and I look forward to following you much more closely now. XO Tiffany

  5. Happy New Year Helen, I just want to say I really enjoy reading your posts, they give me a smell of America, ha, and your style is so chic. Looking forward to new posts!
By the way, can you tell me your height? I love how the jeans fit on you!

  6. Omg I am so inspired by this. I have my own maternity fashion blog, but now that I am 35 weeks pregnant I am running out of ideas on how to be cute yet comfortable. Makes me feel silly for thinking I was “huge” in my second trimester. I think we may be due around the same time! Good luck!

  7. Hi Helen,

Just stumbled across your blog and LOVE it! Just scrolled through ALL your previous posts when I should be working – oops! You have great style and in particular I love how you layer things and also your use of colour – very inspiring… Oh and having done the pregnancy thing twice myself I’m so impressed how great you look, I found pregnancy dressing so tricky… Keep up the good work, I’m a follower now x

  10. Hi Helen!

It’s Tiara from Nida Boutique. Glad you told us about your blog, ill make sure to stay updated. It was such a pleasure to meet you. I’m in the process of starting my own blog too, so maybe one day we can link and share great fashion stories/experiences. Till next time…ciao!

  11. ok, so what is with the hats? You live in LA? They are as cute as can be, but seriously, every shot, you gotta have your chunky hat?

  12. Hello,
I know it sounds awkward but – are wiling You to sell that pretty floral Topshop Boutique dress? It’s not in stock at Topshop so I was looking all over for it. Any price You’d want. I’m waiting for Your answer. Kindest regards πŸ™‚

    1. Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately I’m not planning to sell this dress as I had some alterations done (had to get it shortened since the dress is rather long!)…maybe try eBay?

  13. Hi Helen – I love your style and have enjoyed your blog so much. I tried to order a similar pair of Birkenstocks from the link you provided. The website seemed a little flakey though. Have you had any shopping experience with them?

    1. Thanks Mary! I haven’t actually bought anything from that website so I would probably use caution. My birks are pretty old as I never wore them in HS! hope you can find them πŸ™‚

  14. I see you use a Goyard St Louis as a diaper bag. I’m thinking of doing the same. Which size do you have? Is it practical (considering no inside pockets) and durable? Do things fall out? What other accessories (like pouches, changing pad) do you use? Thanks!

  15. Hello, I just found your blog and I love it. You have a style that is unique, love it. I was wondering if you wold be interested in selling our kate spade fur coat? If so, I am looking for one..badly

    thanks so much

    1. Hi Rosalyn,
It makes sense that you would like the Kate Spade Rosalyn fur coat as it bears your name πŸ˜‰ Unfortunately I won’t be selling that coat any time soon. In fact, I had it shortened recently to just above my knee so it would be less formal…but I’ll definitely keep you in mind if I ever do sell it. xoxo

  16. hi helen,
love your blog and your style! I have major crush on all your outfits.
I love all your hats, especially!
I am thinking about ordeing the stepcat large bobble hat and the nessa vedettaknits hat in off white- was it custom made for you b/c i don’t see that style on etsy.

Also I noticed you got isabel marant H&M dress. I was able to score some pieces as well last thursday. I would love a post on what you scored!!!! πŸ™‚

  17. Hello Helen! I came across your blog and I love your style!! Can you please tell me your height and what size you are wearing in the grey Isabel Marant Good Morning Tokyo sweatshirt in your 10March14 post? That outfit is great!! Thanks!

    1. Thanks Jani! Yes I love that IM sweatshirt that I bought it in the ivory with red lettering too πŸ˜‰ I’m 5’7″ and wearing a size 38. I think the sweatshirt runs TTS. Hope that helps…

  18. Thanks Helen! In the picture of you I referred to you are wearing the grey with navy lettering. Do you also have the ecru with red lettering? If so which fabric do you like better and do they fit the same? Thanks

    1. Both fabrics are similar. I thinks it’s just a personal color preference. Grey is great but I also have a lot of grey sweatshirts so I wanted a cream/ivory one and it was on sale πŸ™‚

  19. Hi Helen, I really love your style! Looks like you have a lot of handbags! Would you consider doing a handbag collection post?

  20. Hi Helen. Love, love your blog. Like most people we would LOVE to see you post more often but of course totally understand with life, family getting in the mix of things. I’m of asian descent as well and have been on the hunt for a nice red lippy. Which color and brand do you use? Thanks =)

    1. hi! thanks for the kind words and motivation πŸ˜‰ i promise to get back into blogging once fall weather actually hits SF haha
i usually wear a more orange-red tone. i love the Nars lady danger but it tends to be too matte for my lips so lately i’ve been wearing Chanel rouge allure #97 incandescente. i hope that helps xoxo

  21. Helen,

It is really fun checking out your blog and your OOTD, very stylish and chic and the whole family is just so cute! : )
I really like your blog rather than other fashion gurus cause I feel that yours is so “natural” and real rather than pretentious (my personal opinion). I just had to get the stella mccartney sweater dress that you posted wearing the other day, looks so comfy and stylish…. it is on the way! what size did you get??

Just keep on posting, i get excited to see new posts up!

    : )

  22. New on the block and from Germany. You are the First Fashion Person I have ever Followed and probably will.
DankeschΓΆn for making a Totally celine and lanvin Fan happy. Please keep your Outfits coming.

  23. So, I’ve been stalking your style off and on for a couple years now, pinned some (ok a lot) of your outfits but never made any comments. I love your blog! The way you play with volumes and colors is just fabulous, so inspiring. Your mothers closet is what has me the most curious though (hello Prada lips skirt anyone?). Anyways, thank you so much for sharing πŸ™‚

  24. Hello helen!! I love your blog i follow you on instagram, and marni its the cutest!! I wonder which its the school that marni goes ir seems such a complete education, i would like to know the name or the philosophy of the school, so i can look in my hometown a school like that for my own daughters.
    Thank you!
